Featured Role: Autonomous APRN

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Autonomous APRN will provide comprehensive sexual health and primary care services within the Check Coast mobile clinic and associated clinical settings, serving clients across Sarasota and Manatee counties. Day-to-day responsibilities include patient assessments, diagnosing and managing conditions, and delivering HIV/STI prevention, PrEP/PEP navigation, and sexual wellness counseling.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current Florida APRN license (NP or CNS) with autonomous practice authority and national board certification.
Clinical skills in sexual health, HIV/STI prevention, and PrEP/PEP management.
Experience with Athenahealth EHR or similar electronic health records.
Strong commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and LGBTQ+ affirming care.
Ability to work independently in a mobile clinic environment and adapt to varied community settings.
